Please note that these Official Rules have been updated as of July 5th, 2022 (the ‘Effective Date’).

LEAGUE CONTESTS ARE SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, A COPY OF WHICH IS AVAILABLE BY CLICKING HERE, AND TO THE RULES BELOW. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND, IN PART, ON THE NUMBER OF ENTRANTS.

How to Register: Limit (1) username per person/email address. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an online entrant, the prize will be awarded to the authorized account holder of the email address. The “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the email address is assigned by an internet service provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

The user who signs up the user name is the only person eligible to win a prize, even if other persons log-in under the user name and make picks.

How and when should I make my contest picks?

Once registered, you can make your picks anytime during the week up until games start. You can select as many or as few games as you wish. Each wager can vary in units from 100 to 500. Once a wager is made on a particular side or total, you cannot wager that side or total again. The single wager limitation is to prevent unlimited picks from being made on a single game. Covers Contests units are not real money. You are not required to pay any money to participate in this contest. Units are just a way to grade the handicapping performance of all contestants.

• Prizes are awarded to the contestants with the most net units.  The prizes awarded vary from contest to contest.

• Prize(s) will be awarded to one user per household at Covers' discretion

• CS Media Limited will make every effort to run the contest in a fair and efficient manner. However, certain events are beyond our control. For example, if Internet hardware or software problems cause us to lose entries, we are not liable. We reserve the right to void an entire week of the contest if we determine it is necessary in our sole discretion.

• All prize winners must have a valid internet e-mail address. To be eligible to receive postal prizes, entrants must have a valid Postal Address. PO Boxes are not acceptable.

• Cash prizes will be sent to eligible entrants who can provide valid PayPal account email address only. Winners can expect their payment up to 4-6 weeks after providing all necessary information. PayPal is not available in every country. Find out if you are located in a country that is non-serviced by PayPal here. If you are located in a non-serviced region you will not be able to receive cash prizes.

• Sponsor does not ship non-cash prizes outside of the United States & Canada. Winners of non-cash prizes located outside the United States & Canada will be sent an equivalent cost value in an eGift Card to amazon.com or amazon.ca.

• For any league contest overall standings, members who are tied with equal units - the tie breaker rules are (1) winning percentage (2) Total number of picks (3) member who made the first pick within the contest (time stamp).

• For weekly contest standings, when members are tied - the tie breaker system is as follows: (1) most wins for the week (2) member who got their first pick of the week in the earliest (time stamp).

• Football Picks are “No Action” if a game does not go more than 55 minutes.

• ALL MLB Contest over/under selections are voided for games that do not complete 9 innings played (8.5 innings if the home team is winning). MLB Over/under selections on scheduled double-header games are voided if they do not complete 7 innings played (6.5 innings if the home team is winning).

• The outcome on all MLB picks must be decided on original game date. Therefore selections on any MLB games which have been Suspended, are Voided.

Lines are posted on the main scores and odds page, and you can make picks up until the time a game starts. Covers Contests has several contests, and you should consult the specific rules for each contest for more information. Some general things to note about our odds and contests: You can pick one team and one total per game. Once a pick is selected and submitted, it is final and cannot be changed.

• You can vary the amount of your wager on the line or total between 100 and 500 units. Covers Contests units are not real money; they are just a way to grade the handicapping performance of all contestants.

• For basketball and football games (sides and totals), the standard odds are to risk 110 units to win 100 units.

• For MLB and NHL games, Covers Contests uses the moneyline. In other words, you pick the winner of the game using the odds posted. For instance, if you pick a team to win with -140 odds, you are risking 140 units to win 100. If you pick a team to win with +140 odds, you are risking 100 units to win 140.

• The odds on totals are the same as side wagers, risk 110 units to win 100.

• You are limited to one user name when playing League Contests. If a person is entering picks using more than one user name, that person is deemed not eligible to win any prizes.

Miscellaneous Provisions:

Covers reserves the right to amend prize monies for league contests due to circumstances out of our control such as a COVID-19 cancellation of games.

No transfer, assignment or substitution of a prize, except Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize for an item of equal or greater value in the event an advertised prize is unavailable. All federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its agencies to use winner’s name and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting prize, winner agrees to hold Sponsor, its respective directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize.

Sponsor is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right, but not the obligation, to select winners from eligible entries received as of the termination date. Sponsors furthers reserve the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. Caution: Any attempt by a contestant to deliberately damage any Web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such contestant to the fullest extent of the law.

Employees of Sponsor, its parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, participating advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers (and members of their immediate family and/or those living in the same of household of each such employee) are not eligible.

Any and all contests and promotions offered by CS Media Limited are void in all United States territories and the Province of Quebec, and where prohibited by law. If a Canadian resident is deemed eligible to win a prize, in order to be awarded such prize, the Canadian resident will be required to correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill question.

WINNER'S LIST: For winner’s name, send a separate self-addressed, stamped envelope to the following address. All requests must be received before 30 days following the closing date for a given contest.

Contests & Prize Breakdowns

• When you win a prize, an email will be sent to you the next day asking for address verification and PayPal email address (PayPal info required for cash prize winners ONLY). You must respond to this email within 5 days to claim your prize. If you ignore the email, no prize will be sent. After you respond, the merchandise prize will be sent by postal service and the cash prizes will be sent via PayPal.
• If you provide us with any incorrect information, you forfeit any prize. Prizes cannot be sent to players who did not supply us with a valid mailing address (no PO Boxes), or valid email addresses. You are responsible to check your account information and make sure it is correct.
• Prizes listed are subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equivalent value if necessary. All contestants are limited to 1 prize per week, and 3 prizes per year. The prize limits do not include prizes won in the Survivor Game that has separate rules.
• Prize(s) will be awarded to one user per household at Covers' discretion
• You must verify that you are at least 18 years old to be eligible for any prize.
• All winners of prizes valued at $250 or more must provide a scan/photo of a State/Provincial or Federally issued photo ID and also sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Publicity Release and Liability Release within 10 days of first attempted notification. Non-compliance within this time period will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
